Teapot: A Home for Healing

At Teapot Home for Healing we offer a range of accessible yoga practices; we invite you to choose what works for you. We offer a range of prices and membership options. We encourage you to choose the option that best suits your affordability.

Gentle Strength & Restoration Class
Wednesdays 6pm-7pm GMT online with Charmaine.
Charmaine’s classes infuse movement, meditation, breathwork and relaxation to meet you where you are. The practice includes chair based, mat based, seated, lying, twisting or standing poses. Variations with props (chair, wall and blocks) will be offered. The classes are guided for you to feel good in your body.

Contemplate & Embody Meditation Class
Sundays 10am-10:45am GMT online with Amy.
For Amy’s class we focus on a particular energy, contemplate it and embody it through practice. Amy offers multiple ways that you can creatively connect with and explore the energy through the magic of yoga. Amy includes elements of yoga philosophy, ethics, social justice theory and practice. You'll find that these sessions tend to be themed around what's currently going on in the world, whether that's a particular social justice issue, elements of nature, the season we are in, the lunar cycle etc.

Monthly Sanghas
Sundays 10am-11am GMT, once per month, online, with Amy and Charmaine.
This is a monthly community space that gives us the opportunity to integrate and share what we’ve learned about ourselves and our practice individually and collectively. Together, we hold the space with compassion and non-judgement, welcoming authenticity and curiosity.

Teapot Solidarity Space
Sundays 5pm-6:30pm GMT, in person in York with Amy
Join us for a weekly yoga class that focuses on all aspects of yoga including asana (movement), mantra, meditation, mudra and more. These sessions are open to all people over 16 and are centred on supporting ourselves and each other as we witness and experience the injustices of the world. We practice care and love for ourselves and the collective. We value and recognise this work as part of our movement toward liberation.

Monthly Mixed Up Healing
Tuesdays 7pm-8:30pm GMT, monthly online, with Amy and Aris.
Mixed Up Healing is a space for people identifying as mixed heritage to explore our mixed identities and how this impacts our experience of the world.
